Making of the bear

So the rick kids of ExxonMobil went out to play!
Hahaha. Or so they say is the Pioneer Road only....

Nah. We are all just interns with the same pay
(Basic that is.....)
LOL!

So we went to HarbourFront Centre for the all-time favourite
DragonGate Dim Sum Buffet

It was good as usual
Bad part was too much fried stuff
Which I ate half a plate myself
Due to ppl's reluctance to help me through the dark times....
And we had 2 shots of honeydew sago!

Cooling for brain~

So after the good morning-lunch-brunch meal
We decided to walk around Vivocity to search
for Bear's farewell gift this coming Friday

So before Chew Hua, Chong Yee and Wei Quan
left for the beach, we strolled around trying to digest
our heavy stomachs
Hahaha. Joke of the day is not to strip at the beach
after eating dim sum
If stripping, plz lay face down and don't let the belly droop out!
Hahahahaha
Best!

And we noticed this bear-making shop
Ah ha!
No questions. I think we got it!
(Of cuz we were lazy to watch as the rest of us wanted to
catch the James Bond 007 show Quantum of Solace)

So this shop was it
Walking around and deciding if it was value for money
(like reducing the number of accessory or clothing to cut cost =x)
We came to a common consensus that it was not bad lah!
So ok lo...we proceeded to dress up the bear we choose

Chew Hua had to choose 1 bear which wasnt smiling
And insist it was smiling
But me and Teck just thought she was a bit blind
LOL!
Glad she realised her mistake =)


So this is the part where they stuff the cotton wool into the bear
Some kind of tortue machine to me

Ok lah. It was interesting to me
I still got a child in me!
=D

So after stuffing the damn bear with the correct
amount of cotton wool
And after squeezing on all parts of the bear
We decided to pump in (or rev in as there's a pedal for you)
more cotton wool to the depths of the brain of the brain

And I had to do a heart-giving ceremony
Kiss, touch, hug, jump and turn around before putting the
heart of the bear in
OMG!
Hahaha. That was pretty cool!
And the salesgirl sew up the bear's spine after that
She mentioned about putting the ID in so that if the bear goes
missing or what, ppl can return to the shop

We were discussing if the bear got emergency, can come back
for A&E services not?
LOL!


Then it was the cleaning the bear part
I was using my hand
And Teck pointed out to use the brush instead
Woohoo~
Cleverness on my part!

Now for Ah Teck's turn

This was the PVC shoes we got for the bear
I was still deeply in thought if Superman was wearing any shoes
But the Adidas show for the bball player looks damn good!

So we proceeded to....

Barbie Doll time!

We were lazy so got the salesgirl to do the dressing
Ok. Just plain lazy we were
And we didnt want to spoil it what

And I had to sit through this computer programming session
Which the chair wasnt that comfy for my butt
Hahaha. I'm a big guy in a small chair
So you shld know thats not cool then~

And we wanted to do something bad
But decided it was troublesome
And nah, shouldnt spoil what I think was good money spent
So...plan abandoned

Finally Mr Ong (or Dr Ong-to-be) came to see us at Exxon today
It was great talking to him
Sorted out some questions we had about attachment
Last semester 3.1, results, reports, presentation, our future,
the university questions and etc etc
Asked about his life and Ngee Ann and LSCT of cuz
Glad to be in touch with the school and such
Hearing his views on many issues of our concerns was
very very very very very very
important to me
=)
And of cuz digging scoops was interesting as well
=DDD

Realised that this is the 11th week and we are
halfway there
12 more weeks and we would be Ngee Ann students no more
Ouch. No insurance for plant work
=x

Everything will be on our own then
Negotiating pay, finding part time for guys, waiting for NS,
girls going for full-time, further studies, overseas, local etc etc

Come on intern LIM!
Life is tough, and since when hasnt it be?
So just brace yourself and see this through
Near the end now
Its like a race
You always run faster at the final parts of the race
Just work on the adrenaline!
