Industrial Attachment @ ExxonMobil

Ok. This is the 2nd day of work and I'm still feeling like a noob.
The 1st day was bad as all 7 of us
(Me, Edmund, Soon Teck, Darren, Chong Yee, Guan Qin and Chew Hua)
all felt like noobs in the cafeteria
Looks even more noob by holding the trays while queueing for food

Anyways, we went through the orientation program already
A lot of safety lectures and it was CPTC deja vu all over again

Hands up if you were caught sleeping by fellow peers

Ok. I think only Chew Hua didnt sleep cuz she had enough sleep?
The rest of us dozed off here and there during the lectures
I rmb waking up at 1 part when Mr Wong our sorta
Managing Officer said something like 'Don't sleep during work'
for intern students
LOL!
Quickly woke up and nearly shocked tio

And we learnt bout Logistics Management like how to get
here via shuttle buses and point-to-point buses
Soon Teck and Chew Hua are posted to S1
where they will deal with HCs distillates like petrol and stuff
Me and Chong Yee are posted to S2
where there' lots of carcinogenic stuff bout those aromatics
like the all-time favourite BTX (benzene / toulene / xylene)

Got introduced to the supervisors and staff
Yea. Looks quite friendly to us
TP students are working with us too!
For a few weeks la
Since they are ending their attachment alreadys
Sianzzz....

But gonna learnt quite a few things from them
I hope?
Besides the fact that they are teaching us how to slack around
and not getting caught
and eating other shift team mooncakes
and how to make kopi
and how to 'eat snake'
and of cuz how to do work lah!
(duh go EM like don need to work izzit?)

Nice bunch of ppl
Hope to know more bout them and the job too

I also noticed that EM ppl all very formal
All wear collar-tees and all hold handrails when going down the stairs
And they like to feed us
The supervisors, Mr Wong, Mr Lim, the TP students etc
Kai Xiang sums it up best

" Grow with Exxon"
