Unfinished business

You know what is the hardest form of disappointment?
Its when everything is set, cast in stone, agreed upon on,
(signed, sealed and delivered as they say)
Then after which, the news filtered through telling you
of otherwise what has been planned

It kinda hit you hard in the face

BAAM!

and leaves a ringing right beside your ears
Like you have been listening to too much techno
with uber bass and at ultra loud volume

(I'm a person who plans ahead and doesnt really appreciate
such last minute situation though...)

So now
If we go
With unfinished business

Sorta having the feeling of tails clipped between our legs
Sort of....feeling....ambushed?
Or disappointed?

I hope to do a proper handover though
With everything cleared up
Dusted and done
Heads held up head
Stomach in chest out
Clench my fist
Pound my chest
And say: " I did it! Now the ball is in your court then! "

Some ppl wear their hearts on their sleeves

Some have the fire burning strongly in their chest

Some flashed their pearly whites and give a wide smile

Some talked about it all day all night long
