Up-and-Coming

Lets give a round of applause for the up-and-coming young photographer
Mr Jon Pang

Who finally after days and weeks and months and years of consideration later
Bought his DSLR in the name of Canon EOS 500D

And guess what?
He bought the camera
And didnt have the memory card reader
Woohoo~

So he cant upload photos into the computer!
That deserves another round of applause!
HAHAHA!
(ok I just found out he got his pics up already)

Dododododo~

And well this was my best shot of the day

Using the Canon EOS 500D

Check out the Uncle's expression
Kinda cute and round
(Is round even a description on its own?)

For more interesting pics
Do check out Jon's blog

The kopitiam pics are actually what I used his cam to test out with
Finally knew how to focus on the subject in front and blurring out the background
And vice-versa too
Creating the all-so-ownage phenomenon named "Depth of Field"
Like WOW!
>.<

阿兵哥 playing some war and shooting game
HAHA!
The irony of holding our dear "wives" everyday has rubbed off on daily life

First time participating in street soccer at HDB block too
Played with some Malay boys
I think they were quite friendly
Or maybe it's the fact that all of us were Botaks and we gave
this really aggressive aura about us
I think I prefer the latter explanation as I also felt that all Recruits
had too much pent-up anger within them waiting to be unleash
=/

Well we LOST
Like zzzzzzzz
I let in 1 goal when I was goalie
Suxxor

And I got 2 assists(?) which hid the bball pole
Plus I also shot at the bball pole when I got through on a nice pass
So ya, in total we hit the pole around 5 or 6 times
Unlucky Army boys
=(

Played Bball after that
Haha back to something that I'm better at
=)

Losing became another issue then
=D

Tried to edit this photo in B&W
And cut out En De's forlorn figure in colour
(he was talking to you-know-who again)
Actually looked great
But decided it took quite some effort
So ya, heck it and post the orginal photo instead

Set the fire for the BBQ
They didnt had any arguments as they knew I ♥ "playing with fire"
Always play with fire when we have our meals together outfield
The fun times while in the worst ever conditions
LOL!
=D

Too much food
Cant eat so much
So little Kitty came along

And they ate happily as we (or rather I) fed them
Well we brought so much liquor but end up didnt drinking any
Too tired at night

BBQ-ed through the night
Ended up watching some scary HK ghost drama
The girl looked so chio
And En De claimed she looked like you-know-who
Which turned all of us off immediately
Haiz...

And the day has arrived...
The imminent day before we knew our posting
Whether we will be posted to OCS or SISPEC or straight to Unit

My Company polo-tee

Platoon 1 Formal Photograph
(thanks to Kenneth for scanning into his com)

And our informal shot

I think at this point of time
Everybody is just anxious or worried about where they will be posted to
Some want so BADLY to go OCS
While others just cannot be bothered to know where they will be going

Is it the truth that OCS is the pinnacle and everyone's dream?
Whereby ppl fight tooth and nail for the place

What about those Specialists?
Don't they deserved some form of recognition too?
Or are they often too overlooked by others?

The pros and cons of being an Officer and a Specialist
How many of us actually did spend time thinking about it?
Little or none perhaps

And maybe I shouldnt too
I shall just wait for whatever posting they give me
Cuz honestly, I have gave my best for BMT
And I don't have any regrets
Plus I made some really great friends
And had some really great & bad times in Tekong
So ya, it has been a journey
Whereby Chapter 1 has begun and ended
While Chapter 2 will starts next week
=)

"See you in OCS!"
"See you in OCS!"
"See you in OCS!"

How many times have I heard this already
Does it get a bit on my nerves or what?
If never go OCS then how?
Armageddon or Doomsday izzit?
Crazy~
