This old couple just sat there for the whole 1 hour I was there
The 2 of them just kept quiet
All was silent
And I believe (aside from the kids' voices)
All they could hear was the wind blowing and the waves splashing
Watching the fluffy clouds above shifting around changing shapes
With the crimson red backdrop
Seeing the ripples form across the water surface
Taking in the beautiful sunset that was happening then
Last but not least
Stealing occasional glances at each other
And exchanging smiles and all

At that point of time....
I felt nothing was more awesome than living to such an old age
White hair and all
And doing what was the most simplest of all tasks
Sitting next to each other
Enjoying some quiet time
Only in the company of their most beloved one next beside them



Animal Planet was next

The little girl tugged on her mother's pants tightly
(Trying to portray the worried feeling though)

And the bad thing was the Mom was feeding the monkey
Bad Mom!
Tsktsk
Putting herself and her daughter at risk
Somemore at that point in time the monkey was quite angsty

Story of the day.....

When your zoom lens cannot do the job

You have to do the dirty work

As what Mun Kay mention

Go right up and get into the thick of the action

To get the best pictures

And risk getting the brand new DSLR scratched

Ok I went up really really really freaking close

Just to get those 2 pics

And the monkey if it jumped I confirmed GG-fied

Trying out silhouette pictures

Still trying though

Hahaha!

It's a great idea brought across to me

Can start exploring on that

And as the sun was setting in the crimson red background...

(I like this too! Took it by accident though!)

The sun was nicely blocked by the signboard

Creating a very pleasant and warmfeeling foreground

And Mun Kay showed me the difference in using flash

How it was natural without flash

And how to try to compensate it with the rear flash

With the foreground being brighter and the background overexposed

As shown in the 2nd pic

So to achieve something like the balance in the former pic

Where foreground and background have natural colours

I think I still need 10,000 years of practice on it though

=/

See the shitty shitty patch on the teeth

Yes the same fate as those smokers seriously

I got nothing against them

I got smokers friends

But please dont open your mouth or even use your mouth to breath

When you stand next to me after you smoke

Smelly piece of lard

Zzz~

And I realised the sad fact that smokers dont die easily

Its always their loved ones who do so

Sadly but truly

This composition looks nice too!

Loved the way she walked slowly and uncertainly across the rocks

With the little stones in her hands

Wearing the cute little white dress and all

Somemore this is one of my rare subject-centered photo

And she walked and walked.....

She threw the stones into the water

Like how she walked such a distance to just throw stones

LOL!

Quite cute lah I admit!

The weakness for little girls young enough to be my daughers

Ahhhh~!

Giving a big wide smile

As if she is the most sweetest young thing in the entire world

And the messy hair blowing in her face

That is enough to melt my heart liao lo

Forgive her just based on this photo

Then turning around to look back into the water

And back again to her parents

Giving the "HUH?!" look

The clarity and the quality

But hey its 1st time
