It was Genie 卓文萱's concert in NTU!
Her first overseas stop in promoting her new album 超级喜欢
Well, couldnt wait to rush off from work that day
But the stupid journey to NTU was not very pleasant
Quite long and squeezy
Cannot imagine myself TAKING A BUS THERE
in 2 years time
I see myself in the Super 4
And I will see to it that happens

Actually at NTU met quite some familiar faces
Haha. Exchange a few hello's and hi's here and there
But some ppl worth mentioning are like....
YEW GEOK TING!
Haha. She is one of my "nemesis" sia
I think she hates me in a fun way!

She was at NBS (Nanyang Business School)
Ending school at 630pm
Cannot imagine TAKING THE TRAIN HOME
Tsk tsk
And what time she would reach home

And she gave me the damn surprised look
And I told her I was there for the Genie's concert
And the number #1 expression
*Imagine her mouth then gasping*
Then do the OMG expression
*proceeds to lecture me*

As usual, some ppl spoil market
Queue at 5 plus
Made the rest queue until damn long
Heard it reach the North Spine

But after 40mins of waiting
(I realised you got contacts you can jump queue)
(thats what social networking is about)
It was time to go in!!!

With Genie's music playing in the background
Over full house of 1000++ ppl
Damn. It was like WOW
So many ppl
Those who came late got to sit in front of the stage

YES 93.3 FM DJ - Ding Zhi Yong
So Zhi Yong came in and started introducing some stuff
about Genie's new album and sorta promoting
And he is damn good la
DJ arent DJ for fake
And we await the critical moment of seeing Genie!!
ALAS!
Here she comes!
Singing “超级喜欢”
The way she bounced onto the stage was like worth it already
Hahaha!
I like ppl who bounced into the scene
Machiam like Energizer Bunny
Damn cute sia~
After the first song, in which she interact with all of us
Zhi Yong came in and chatted with her
Then she proceed to sing "一句话" and "一个人勇敢"
Both sad songs
But she perk us up after that
With the limitless energy she has!
Zhi Yong interviewed her and asked about the 2 songs
And Genie mentioned she had a heartbreak last yr in '08
She said the guy play missing and said they were not suitable
Like WTF can?
WTF WTF WTF WTF?
Everyone was feeling unjust for Genie
And Zhi Yong asked for the guy's number so we can bash him up!
Haha. Damn funny!
There was a segment in which 3 guys were called up
For a duet with Genie!
OMG!
And to sing “ 梁山伯与朱丽叶”
OMG
*faint already*
The winner got to take a pic with her together
Arghhh!
And the winner call himself 曹格
Arghhh!
*Incurs the wrath of all hot-blooded males in the hall*
And it reached the climax when Genie ask for “幸福氧气”

She is damn pretty in real person!
But the make up a bit thick
Maybe cuz she didnt sleep last night (she mentioned)
But her eyes and everything else

So after a few more songs
She sang the last song “ 爱的城堡”

She rises one leg and points to the sky
Ok this is very hard to describe
Cuz you may not get it and think I'm talking rubbish
But if you got see those concert stuff
All those Taiwanese variety show
Whereby the celebrities interact with the host / audience
The girls will do the

The last conversation
She is like this very energertic and frenly girl
Who is like bursting with youth
And she can belt out those high notes/pitches/tones
or whatever musical term you wanna call it
She can sing for God's sake
And not bad her acting
She demo 1 short skit also
All in all, its a very entertaining night for me
*Cross 1 checkbox out in my '09 wishes*
And my '09 wishes do include to be more proactive
Do stuff that I never do regularly
Such as extreme sports and seeing concerts
I mean I'm like quite high after doing all these stuff la
Then wanna share my happiness with somebody
or anybody for that matters
But nah. No one was impressed
So I was like on a mad dose of sugar rush
With no one to relate to me
Kinda sad actually
But I put on a strong front
And channel the highness to somebody else
*still desparately searching for someone*
Haha. And oh ya..it was TCY aka tan wawa
who shared my highness and happiness
Managed to catch her in the LT too!
So decided to catch up with her via sms next day
She also channel her blurness to my happiness
So it was quite excellent!
