Ah Ma's Bday

This year's 'celebration' of Ah Ma's bday was not
the usual one in a sense whereby we didnt all
gather at the place for one big feast

But nonetheless, the people who were there are still there
The food that needs to be present is still present
And the cake of cuz!

It was me driving the car out to go buy the cake with
the rest of the Lim cousins
Haha. And it is always fun to drive a manual car
Manual car is challenge and I like!

Had a mini TP test around the AMK area
Which also coincides with the SSDC test route!
LOL! Nostalgic

Did some narrow crank course around the super huge
coca-cola trailer and do some vertical parking
Well verdict was I passed with little or no signal
of lights and minimum checking of blind spots

Result: 6pts - 4 for blindspot and 2 for extra manoeuvre
for vertical parking

So besides the prayers for my Ah gong in the morning
Which a lot of us took leave for
Or pontang school for the students

We got a dog to get ourselves occupied
And of cuz the kids makes the place more livelier
With them screaming and running around
And their parents chasing them also
Hahaha. The place seems to be full of activities
while people around my age, the 20-30 age group
tend to take the food, sit down in 1 corner and
then chit chat among ourselves

And of cuz the kids are definitely fascinated by an animal too

So Dog Handling Lesson 101 for them

This is Qian Yi

The KIDS chain gang commander

With the rest of us watching events unfold~

So she is trying to teach Ke Yun how to handle the dog

With the 2 guys De Yang and Brandon acting as dog food

=p

Even the adults are curious about how some 6-7 year old

children handle an "LIVE" animal

So the dog got the Guard-of-Honour treatment too!

Still got 2 ranks formed up

With De Yang leading the VIP Ashley for the GOH inspection

Hahaha

And all the kids gather and discuss their tactics

to handle this dog

With the cavalry coming in (their parents)

So after minutes of being led by the dog instead of leading the

dog. And calling for help as the dog led them away too

We finally manged to get them to settle down to take a group photo

Woots. Finally camp draws to an end

With not enough sleep again

And trying out the new campfire starting technique

1st time for me to use 3 fireballs to light up a campfire

Spectucular effort I would say

But the visual could be better

Haiz. The fireballs were supposed to come down simultaneously

But this was not to be

With all the trial-and-error and calculations and setting up

of the campfire stack and the fire place

The last part was not as I hoped it would be

But there's a lesson to learnt in every slight failure

Well done I would say. But definitely can be better

Next year not me doing already

As I would be serving the country with the

I don't wanna be doing campfires for the next 10 yrs man

Since sec 3 till now. EOY camps, CI course and ATC

Well. Took leave today to go for the NS medical check-up

Good thing was I went early

Bad thing was it was 3hrs+ of travelling to and fro

Like WTF????
