This time....
I caught IP MAN at Cine on a Saturday!
And so now I declare....
In my true and honest opinion
And comparing all the shows this year
IP MAN IS THE BEST SHOW OF 2008!
This is Donnie Yen by the way
Who OMFG showcases his best gong fu here!
Any normal human person who watches Chinese shows
with martial arts or wushu in it knows who is Donnie Yen plz
He's like Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hong etc
Same league
Different feeling only
This show is set in the pre-war period of 1930s in Fo Shan China
It goes on to the peak period of the Japanese invasion in the
late 1930s till 1945 after the Japs surrendered
What is so good about this show is the build-up
It goes really well at the start
Slow and steady
With huge amounts of laughter in between
Clear and simple dialogue
Some bits of sparring action here and there
Just like tickle your tastebud and wants for more
Then it builds up
And you can feel this warm fuzzy feeling in you
With hardcore action of fighting in between!
Guys who watched this show would like.....ask for more!
Girls who don't appreciate Chinese show should catch it
with their guys
And don't whine by the way
Hahah. Cuz I think it caters to everyone who like/dislike
movies who have characters speaking in Mandarin all the way
Its all about love
Love for the family, friends, passion for what you want to pursue
Love for the country and everything that you ever want
I dont wanna leak out too much
But trust me
With all due respect to Batman
This show totally brings out the Asian spirit in us!
If you do think about our roots in the bad times of WWII that is
Ownz!

Everything is good from head to toe

I got this dream last night
Confirm not semi-conscious
Cuz I woke up upon hearing the house telephone ring
Which crazy dude called on a Sunday morning at 8+?
I dreamt of going to this bike shop
This shop sells 2nd hand bikes and original 1 of cuz
Its near my place, at Park II there
And I saw some Super 4s there
Most eye-catching ones were those in good / bad conditions
Saw some with bad license plates
Some with bad body parts
And only got 5 of them like that
So left this only orange colour CBR
Selling for 5k
And I happily skipped home
Told my Dad
We went to the shop
Asked about it
And my Dad came up with some lame excuses
Like what after NS or going uni then buy that shit
Then I was like fuming like crazy
Thought of throwing my computer monitor at him
Then it hit my mom who was at home
