May The Force Be With Me

When no one is looking for you
You would be free as a bird
When everyone is looking for you
Everyone want to grab a piece of you

This shall be the last post of the blog (I guess?)
Since I cant post any damn pictures
A bit frustrating

This few days have been hanging out with friends
And family since Bro just came back from Aussie
Its been a long time since we sat down as 1 to eat dinner
Feels...............good
Outside food eat too much also sianz
=)

I wanna thank all those who I have hanged out recently
Especially those who give so-not-encouraging-comments for enlistment
The people from the Land, Air & Sea
The Officers
The Sergeants
The Men
The Recruits
The Commandos
The Naval Divers

All the horror stories they tell you
And all the funny things that you would expect to encounter
It's so......eagerly anticipated(?)

From the Commandos
Like how the Jump Master would grab you from 2 steps away
And throw you out of the helicopter
How no Commando is a Commando when parachuting
And how some ppl cling to the door and even sat down on the helicopter
But the Jump Master has the biceps the thickness of your face
And you cant dare to oppose him
But to just wait to be thrown out of the helicopter

"Aim for the grass you know?"
*simulate aimming for the grass expression*

Haha. So damn funny lah!
Will be hoping to hear more stories from Hong Hao soon
Our only Commando from the bunch of close friends
Hope you can go into OCS
Then respect from everyone of us already!

From the Officers & Sergeants
Obviously these ppl are those who cant wait to screw me
Upside down left right centre inside out
I knew I was a bad friend
Everybody says that I'm a parent-killer
But if only the parents knew....

LOL!

Wah lao. With friends like these
Who needs enemies?
But of course thanking them for the information they relay
to me and help me in my preparation and stuff

From the Men & Recruits
And these ppl are the highlights
They tell you the life at the most bottom of the food chain
How to keng ALL DA WAY
Somehow these ppl also a bit weird la
Some of them very fit
But still chose the easy way out
Some of them really CMI
Also not their fault
But all in all
They always say Army is good life
HAHA!

So many stories I hear
Some of them are just plain weird
While on the other hand, some are the highlights of the day
You hear of ppl walking into the wall
And BANG!
Ownage!

Of course everyone is concerned about the physical part
About the SOC and 2.4km and IPPT
And you will hear ppl cannot clear SOC
And then 2.4km run 7mins +
Pull-up 35?
That's crazy!
And of course the best statement I heard on Sunday

"Wah lao! You dont see I never exercise like that
I SAF STANDARD GOLD OK?"
Ah Dong

And the news is out too
Only left Cougar and Jaguar company

I have been a Jaguar all my life
From Primary school to Secondary school
Now Army also Jaguar?

Of course feedback is Cougar is the most xiong in School 1
And Ninja is the most xiong in School 2

Whenever ppl say Ninja
There will be ppl on standby
"Duty, Honour, Country! Ninja Company!"
*pumps fist*

HAHA! Best leh!
Salute to you guys sia

I hope to go Cougar somehow
Not say I wanna haolian or what
But felt that I wanna break the Jaguar tradition for once
And of course coming out from Cougar (the most xiong company)
Best right?
NO?
YES?

When playing bball on Sunday
All of them (except me) is enlisted (HH is going Commando)
Says that must beeeeee the slip of paper
Like play Poker card at the casino
If see the curvy letter 'C' then can tear the paper away liao
Tell Mom and Dad you wont be calling home

HAHA!
Joke of the day sia

It's Heaven and Hell between C & J
And I already made a pact to see a lot of evil ppl in Hell
So ya, C for me?
=p

Come out become Superman leh!

And not forgetting those who wished me luck for Army
And the small little gifts
Luckily no one gave gel
The energy bars, the encouragements, the SMS
The confidence in me
The handshakes
The seemingly-deliberate-hard pats on the back
Makes me feel better in more than different ways
=)

And my Phantom
Been the most trusty companion next to my bicycle
When the journey is far or late
It still beats everything else in sight

With a stupid naggy exhaust pipe that spews spluttering
sound and felt like an old auntie dragging the engine
It provided me as the best transport I have
And took me around Singapore these few months
To many places I would never have ventured on my own
But with the Street Directory as your best friend
Nothing is gonna go wrong
(somehow my Street Directory isnt the latest version though)
=/

Added plenty of road experience
And confidence in getting to my destination
How to squeeze between cars during traffic jams
How to stay alive on the CTE during peak hours etc

Of course the times when I have late supper works well too
And the look-behind-the-back for parking attendants
And the raining times
When the rain spoils the polish and glitter on the bike
And when there isnt enough petrol and you need to fill it up

The Phantom is a love-hate story
Which not many people know
For me, it would take plenty of hours to finish the story
And plenty to come for many years from now on

Its not something as easy as getting a license and riding the bike
People often mistake cars and bikes
Getting the bike license isnt as easy as just slotting into the driver's seat
And just put the gear stick into D and drive off

Its a whole new dimension on the road
When the famous parents and friends statement "肉保铁"
When judgement comes in the split second
When the only emergency brake you slammed on may be your last
Where the front or back wheel jammed and you either skidded or fly
When the car just stalled but you become meat sauce
Where helmets are the only accessories to contain brain juice

But once you acknowledge the dangers of riding a bike
You would be more careful
Haolian-ing and speeding
Who wouldnt do it?
Especially young adults like us
Where the need for speed is so strong everybody is throttle to the MAX
Pedals to the floor etc

But I guess I have matured quite a lot in my riding
It felt good when Adrian mentioned my riding has improved a lot
After so many hardships and scoldings
This few months were the best times I ride the Phantom
Yes oh yes the AMK loading bay and the free parking plays a part too
=p

But now
Enlisting soon
I gave it a new polish and wax coating and return to my Dad
Pity I cant post it up here
Or you could have seen it
How adults always say

"When you can care for your machine
You can care for the one you love"

=)

And thanks for the drinks, the food, the kopitiam sessions
The Australia / Genting / Tioman trip
The Chomp Chomp
The movies
The basketball
The gyms
The cycling
The riding
The photo-taking

I went to Bugis there today to pray
For myself and my safety in Army
For my Dad and Mom to have good health
For my Bro to study hard and learn new things at IAP
For my dear friends who are going overseas to be safe and sound
For everyone to stay healthy and be happy
And I never pray to be rich too
Never once in my life
I know the Gods are busy
But I thank them for enlightening me after I have 求签
Wise words to accompany me into enlistment
=)

Maybe some day you still can pop by here
Maybe on a weekend I would still blog
Maybe maybe
Best chance you can is catch me on Hui Jeen blog then
HAHA!
And yes I LUP♥ you my readers!
HAHA!
All you stalkers I know!
Is cute if you are stalking me lah!
I think is cute seriously
No joke
=)

Ok here is a joke for you
After all the Army talk-cock

Sergeant: "Hey RECRUIT!!! Whats your name!?"
Recruit: "Benson..."
Sergeant: "BENSON LAN LAH!"
Sergeant: "BENSON NO SURNAME NO FULL NAME NO MIDDLE NAME AH?
Sergeant: "GIVE ME YOUR FULL NAME FOLLOWED BY YOUR CHRISTIAN NAME!!!"
Sergeant: "Ok you knock it down first! Give me 20!"

HAHA!
This joke keep repeating itself in my mind
Then followed by the "Wonder Girls - Nobody But You" song
Addictive!
=p

'Cya 2 years later'
1 year 10 months to be exact
Ok you dont want to me right?
Always say 'see me after 2 years'
Knn~
LOL!

Army first bunk talk topic after self-introduction I realised
'Hey, got sister not?
Younger one?'

=DDD
