Time shall pass fast when you are having fun

So it was my VERY 1st book out on Friday night
And yes it was a great feeling
After being confined for 16 days

16 days is half a month ok?
No joke

I had a gorgeous crimson red sunset to accompany me
and my whole entire company out of Tekong
There were red, orange, blue, purple, pink and even black
Colours were sprayed vividly everywhere
Clouds looked like puffy candyfloss
Sky was just beautiful
And the cool sea breeze
Us in our Smart 4
It was poetry in motion
Definitely

I look up at the sky
And yes, it is so scenic I could sit down and just rest there
But nonono, home is the final destination!
=)

Anyways ya, it feels good to be home
I dont feel the difference of what is a civilian
and a recruit out on the weekend
I mean ya there's plenty of botaks walking around
But nobody cares
So ya, it feels....just normal?

I still take the public transport
I still dress up
I still go down to buy my lunch
And still sneak a peak at the most pretty salesgirl in Hougang Point
Still see the neighbourhood friends around too
And the Aunties/Uncles also waved and say Hi
So ya, everythings a-ok!

25th July, Saturaday

This was the paperbag of Jesslyn's friend 21st bday present

Even the paperbag looked so good

And so Joanne organised an outing at THE CATHAY

Dinner was early at Aston's

As I was dressing up to go up

I walked into the bathroom

Saw the pointed comb

And nearly wanted to pick it up to comb my hair

Then I saw the L'Oreal indestructible hairgel

I looked up and saw my reflection in the mirror

Muttered " $%#@!^&! "

And went to pick up my adidas cap

Town was gorgeous

Filled with pretty girls of course

And friendly botak guys

=p

The sky had 2 colours with the crescent moon

And the illuminating LED bulbs compliment the evening backdrop

This actually tasted good

Haha. Cheapened taste-buds

But the ice-lemon-tea rocks nonetheless

=p

We were sitting outdoors

And Hui Jeen had to separate all the NSF

So as to not saturate our conversations about Army

But eventually she also asked how was life inside

And she just had to take my cap off the 1st things she saw me

I definitely can feel myself becoming stronger and faster
But of course everything comes at a price

It's Sunday now
And I'm booking in soon

The confinement time...
I called my friends and family
And yes, the Nokia phone screwed me up with limited numbers
So I was left semi-crippled with plenty of lost contacts

But the calls...
The random SMSes...
Be it messaging me to mock at me or ask about me
They were encouraging at the very best

I called Deb before she flew off
And it's funny how we can actually still dissed each other off
In a fun sense though
And she entrust me to go help out xxx
Quite a difficult task sia
=(

And yes
The music player
One of the best friend even though it was dying out rapidly for no reason
I listened to "李圣杰 - 手放开 & 痴心绝对" repeatedly
And it brought a smile to my face
=)

Lastly I just wanna say
It was very very very encouraging to me
To pick up my phone at night
And see some SMS asking me how it's like
Asking me to take care and jia you / 加油
And those saying "Hello RECRUIT YJ LIM!"
Yup. They make me smiled to myself
Touched my smooth head and laughed myself silly
I hoped these ppl do still msg me
Cuz its a very comforting thing to me personally
And I mean it
