Reading the newspaper sometimes is an enjoyment to me

I think sometimes we do need to pick out what is relevant
And what is considered as juicy gossip that is redundant but
yet still somehow unavoidable in reading for pleasure's sake

Everywhere the papers are talking about movies
And currently the hot favourite has gotta be....
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Everybody (and I mean those who haven watch the movie yet)
would know that Optimus Prime died and revived
Oh come on! The news leaked like...ages ago?

Teenage boys (16 and under) would love the robots
Young hot-blooded males (anything from 18 to 70) would love Megan Fox
=p

And of course the tongue-spewing monster named Alice
(can you guys stop asking me to rate between Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas?)
Megan Fox win hands down I say!
By this time ppl would come in and argue say the part whereby
the Alice had something coming out from the back
And we will all go "ooooooooo" in unison
Yes yes I agree the part whereby Alice and the tongue and the hind
Oh we loved it!

Hahaha! That part she wins!

And I guess watching the movie too early has its consequences
You would still be reading critics and reviews on the movies
But watching it too late also means I would have read them too
And go in with a pre-set mindset in place in my head
So I guess I would prefer the former instead

And everyone is talking about it
Making the movie a topic to talk about
And I like

And I think to watch a movie
A lot has to be seen on who is the actor/actress, the director,
the executive producer or what, the soundtrack and etc
The crew actually does play a part in making ppl anticipate a certain movie
So expecting Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay
You would expect
Mr Spielberg-who-I-suspect-had-been-abducted-by-aliens-before-in-an-UFO
to come up with something that which he linked to what I think he is
And Michael Bay who had produced Armageddon
I mean Armageddon leh!
Still one of my all-time favourites next to Independence Day
Who can forget Liv Tyler and Aerosmith's "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" song?

So the newspaper sum up the best

Don't bring your brains along
Because....

The newspaper is also talking about MJ and his funeral
And what state of health he is in before he died
The unrevealed pictures of him before he was found death
His assets (or whatever that is left)
His 3 children custody
And how everyone is cashing on him after his death

Still one of life's greatest regret to never see him perform live

And besides the New Paper
I personally like going through the newspaper stand and read
the Straits Time main page
Cuz it sums up what is important that actual day
But I don't read Straits Time
I prefer "my paper 我报" after the New Paper

"my paper 我报" is very interesting
Features both English and Chinese together
I like the Chinese part becuz it features the part on Sis Shenton
Sis Shenton is someone who writes mostly about love
But occassionally on work and life too
And of course there is the quite true Horoscope 星座 at the bottom

Sis Shenton talks quite chim
Then you need to read the helping words to understand what
she is trying to put across in her personal views
I like columns that include a wise yet factual opinion
Especially those that are readers-friendly

And of course the Chinese entertainment gossip section
Best to keep up to date on juicy info
