I do have to raise both my hands and admit
Italia was just not good enough
So many issues, especially from the coaching side and the injuries bandwagon
Fabio Cannavaro has looked passed his expiry date
Maybe it's the fact that he's going to ply his trade in Dubai next season
Or maybe it's just a bad decision to stay and play for the Azzurri
Should have retired when you won the World Cup and Player of the Tournament
Just like Nesta back then
De Rossi was poor
Touted as the next Azzurri captain
Did nothing right in helping the team by giving away a goal
Was slammed for a dive in the 2nd game against NZ
Gattuso....
Haiz... Knew he didnt had the heart when he announced his retirement
Only had 45mins to play in a must-win game
He is a defensive midfielder for God's sake
Fedrico Marchetti
Gigi Buffon's replacement
The goalkeeper that Arsene Wenger is going to buy
Oh well, let's just say Arsenal better go get him
And we can see all the circus of Almunia, Fabianski and friends
=/
I thought the worst was Italia coach Lippi
The worst thing he did was to not select the better players
Sometimes you do need the big guns and big names
No Totti aka the Emperor of Rome
No Luca Toni, no Alex del Piero, no Fabio Grosso, no Materazzi
Never play Andrea Pirlo till 60+ mins
Choose to change strikers every match
I think too many tactical errors
Ultimately causing the downfall of Italy
.

.
Haiz....no big money for PS3 already
=/
Anyways this World Cup so far
Only Argentina, Holland and Brazil have performed as expected
The players I think who have performed are
Lionel Messi (I think he finally transferred club form to international stage)
Robin van Persie (the sweet left foot)
Diego Forlan (HAHA! Still the so-called best striker)
Xavi and Iniesta (the best passers on Planet Football)
#9 North Korea striker (he is so going to move to a new Europe club)
Honda (the Jap striker scored a beauty of a free kick)
Tsabalala (cockster name, but light up the opening game)
Lee Chung Yong (if I got it correct, the Bolton player of the year)
John Terry
Hate to admit it
But when you see the Chelsea captain dive head first
Eyes closed and kamikaze torpedo-style
And putting his whole body on the line for the England team
You knew he wants to win this World Cup badly
Of cuz there are some other players who played well
But lets just say
Go ORANJE!!!!
