And as if other people's birthdays are not on today or tml
Ok. Today is special becuz...
It is 21 days to the actual day of enlistment!
21 is a very special number
Becuz....it is my favourite number!
Hahaha!

I would be lying if I say I don't harbour any thoughts
with regards to enlisting into the Army
But with regards to preparation
I think logisitics-wise, I have gone to Beach Road to check out
some of the items and actually there isnt anything you need to buy
Maybe some ziplock bags thats all
To zip all your smelly clothes so that your worried-sick mom
back at home would be washing for you once you book out!
LOL!
And on the fitness side
I think I'm ok lah
Don't think I deserved the term 'enhanced'
Cuz I think my 2.4km running time is cuiz to the max
Like 12+ min closing in on 13?
Haha! That's a ladies timing!

Plenty of mix reviews coming from friends who
are actually serving or have ORD-ed already

I think generally the main concern is about doing pull-ups?
For me I think pull-ups should be the easiest to clear among them
Compare to sit up somemore
Hope both my arms dont get injured these 3 weeks leading

The gyming and normal sporty activities which I do almost
for more than half the week should do the trick?
I think I wont die inside too
Cuz I'm PES A leh!

It also means its the last of my enjoyment days

Glad I still have outings like going to the Jurong Bird Park!
Or the regular tennis or the kopitiam dinner at Hougang Plaza

Why do we suddenly go to the Bird Park?

Its becuz the Health Science Authorities and Red Cross
invited all Blood Donors to go there to enjoy ourselves
2 complimentary tickets per pax of blood donors
And the Red Blood Cell is a cute fluffy person as I gave
it a pat on the back after taking the photograph

I think he's too hungry
And the volunteers gave us plenty of food
Like bread with ham and cheese, muffin, apple, can drinks etc
And the person who attended to us was from Xinmin

We were there to see bird bird right?
It was the late afternoon around 2 plus
A humid afternoon after a slight drizzle

The parrots were damn bright and colourful
And they take are way BIGGER than those small little one
you see the uncles at the HDB blocks keep in their cages

The flamingos are weird creatures to me
I mean they look good
But they have spongy spongy necks
Which they curled into their bodies
And looks like some sponge at the basin you wanna
twist and squeeze for the water to come out
Ok I did not just mean that

No wonder the bird's head looks like it got struck by a disease
HAHAHA!

Ok but they ARE DAMN HUGE
Like open the wing span more than 2.5m long?
And behind the 2 Officers is the King of Kings

Cuz it opened the wings and everyone wow together

This is Hui Jeen with her favourite bird
Big, fat and blue in colour
Only can run but cannot fly
Has a bad hair day judging by the hairdo it sports
And they cornered the poor little bird
But by then, another one of the same kind jumped out
of the bushes and we were like totally stunned
Thought it called out for reinforcement sia

This pelican is again, SUPER DUPER BIG also
Jia Yong tried to tease it by fanning the map
Then we got scared as we thought the pelican was gonna fly out
Shocked until we nearly want to run away
Hahaha!
But damn funny
The pelican can hold up water amounting to 40 cans of soft drinks!

We (Me and Jon) also viewed the bird show
It was quite a show
The eagles were very very well trained
And the way they hunt for the prey
Impressive stuff there
Squeezy and humid and sweaty and hot it was too

So after which
We go to the picnic corner and sat for a while
Jon left for SAFTI (so SUAY!) while the rest of us...
Drew cards to decide where to go for dinner!
Crazy but fun idea
And you gotta hand it to Kobe for bringing cards everywhere
So we each came up with 5 ideas

Hui Jeen - Newton Food Centre
Kobe - Chomp Chomp
Cai Ying - Broadway Plaza
Me - AMK S11
The most unpopular choice was Newton
But somehow we go by elimination
And Broadway Plaza was eliminated 1st
Followed by ME (S11 leh!)

So left Fish & Co and Newton
OMG
Totally devastated
Glad Hui Jeen changed to S11 and she won Jia Yong tyco-ly
And that's the trip to the Bird Park
Fun and interesting
And Rasa Sayang Western still rocks
But I think the prices inflated like crazy~
*sweats*
But I still stick to my stand that if I whipped
your face with the chicken cutlet, your face would be swollen
HAHA!
