Day 3 of Perth Trip

Ok back on Day 3 of the Perth Trip


















This was the place we stayed in
"Motor Inn" and "Backpackers" apparently has a huge standard gap
"Motor Inn" is definitely the more comfy choice
And of course the pricing is also not so comfy


















And this was the scary place for reception
I think the Day 2 night me and Edmund went in
It was "double-gated"
And the old lady just came out from the side door
Dressed in her pyjamas and stuff
And nearly looked like the landlady from The Mask

I'm a coffee person
Ok I can drink tea too
But the cappuccino is off-the-charts!

So we walked towards Busselton jetty
Which we did in Day 2
But it was with a different objective
To go visit the jetty in the day

This was the Busselton jetty
The longest jetty in the whole of Southern Hemisphere

Sounds fantastic right?
Southern Hemisphere still got countries like.....?

Even babies came along

And we proceed to shoot some pictures at the jetty....

The birds came swooping down upon all the ppl at the jetty
So came so close
So just stood at the handle rails etc
Couldnt pass up a chance to snap them in photos right?

And the couple who went snorkelling at the water
Looks fun lah
IF Spore has such clear waters...

Adrian is depressed that only the gifts shop is left open

Nevermind
We got a nice group photo before going to the beach to check out the sand

So we just stripped off our shoes

And as we waddle in the water

I also realised that my camera has this very chap function

No idea why Edmund calls it that way

But it's backed by popular comments that it's fun!

Finally Adrian gave up

And he proceeds to do the infamous "chua 冰舞" by 阿雅

Looking at these pictures just made me laughed my head off

Need to screw it back somehow

So nice to chill out by the beach

With no worries

And the not so humid weather

Not so scorching sun (shades do the trick!)

How I envy the cute little kids who go to the beach

Build sandcastles and run naked and whatsoever

As we make our way from the jetty for lunch

Here are some interesting things you see outside the shops

Eat more eggs for more protein

Singapore I wont dare to wear shades and drive

But I can wear shades and ride my bike

All in all, its the 熟悉度 of the vehicle

Anyways as I uploaded the picture of me driving

I'm often reminded of girls taking their own portrait shot

In the passenger seats

With the seat belt across

And 90% would be wearing spaghetti top or tank top

Its just so....overly common

Why no girls take 1 with them on motorbikes?

Hmmm

Ok I sound biased here!

HAHA!

No issues with the ladies

Then the next destination was...

Margaret River Chocolate Company!

It was the Easter week

And the Easter Bunny came out in the huge shape!

Bigger than my palm! (in height)

And it was pandemonium for choc lovers

Free tasting

Loads of chocolates

From bars, to bits, to assorted

So we just bought a few tuffles and went out to the garden

And the garden is such a.......nice environment to enjoy and savour

Nice is just an understatement

Delicay and living life to the MAX!

=)

After that we moved to Providore down the road

Wide varieties of local-made jams

And wines (no free tasting that time) with the winery just outside

All in the so...."ambiotic" place
Stylo!

And we meet some Asians

They have to give some stuck-up face

Like we also not Asians like tat

If they were back in Spore

Damn I tell you it would be a different story

super stuck-up the face

Wanna drag them to the fence and just go left-right 10m

Anyways drove off to another place

Margaret River Nuts & Cereals

The cookies are...off-the-charts

This was the one I bought

So tempted during the remaining days to just finish it up
But cannot as I bought if for my family

Well they finished up in front of me

Thats family ties...

=.=

Anyways the shopkeeper asked if we were Singaporeans
So we just replied "yes"
Guess what he said?

"Oh I can smell the money!"
Like WTF?
I think Edmund want to run him over the next day

After which

We had some spare time before the sun sets for the day

Lavender Place
One of the nicest flower / plant that I like

=)

Anyways MK and Edmund had some dispute at this entry point

It all started with just a simple

"Eh, you cannot cross this point"

LOL!

Just such an such an awesome place!

Rocks to the very core

After that, we drove to Margaret River to bunk in

Back to the poorer days of backpackers

Rich for 1 day , Poor the other

The fan was put in a dangerous position

Which outside was kinda weird how it was gonna blow at 4 of us

Doesnt matter lah!

We proceed to the highly-acclaimed place "Settlers Tavern"

The favourite sight

Damn!

The waiter came to light up a honey-pot shaped candle holder(?)
Looks like the one Winnie the Pooh has

Whereby day and night he sucks on the forever present honey inside

=p

After looking at the menu

That was no doubt about the food we were gonna have...

But aiya, thirsty lah

=/

Got ice water no doubt

But the ice water ran out pretty quick

Like I said, we were really thirsty

Did I say we didnt had a doubt on what to order?

450g of T-bone steak!

With a slight layer of fat at the surrounding meat

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh~

Can you start drooling now?

I only knew we cut and chew until our hands and mouths hurt

But it was worth it

Totally god-like stuff

You wash it down with beer

Ohhhhhhhhhhh~

Tasty

This is the time I'm sure Chinese Tea doesnt do the trick

=D

We had Round 2 as we were waiting for the live band

But it was getting a bit too rowdy there

And the band was still not up on stage

Aussie ppl can drink seriously A LOT

But the drinks are quite cheap

At least 2 bucks off Spore pricing

So Edmund who didnt drink so much drove

We decided to explore places at night

Seems like a bad idea as we got slightly lost

Told you the GPS was screwing us in the sly

Damn you GPS!

But we got to Surfers Paradise and...

OMG the waves were like....damn scary

And once you get out of the car

The wind will just drag you towards the sea

I think is sea breeze? Or land breeze?

I never got A1 for Geography

But the wind was craaaaaaazzzzzzzy

It was chilling so much that it hurts

I had to strap up all the way

And damn I look like Jay Chou!

We can vaguely see couples making out

Kinda cold isnt it?

But good idea lah

I salute you!

And then we retired back to the room

And of course the normal daily debrief

Before going for a shower and sleeping

And yes some BIG 2 action

No card no life

Go out, bring cards, save lifes!

=p

This is the only post I don't have picture problem!
