Photography Lesson!

Black and white series is back!
=)

But before I post the B&W photos
I wanna post some pics of the photography lesson I went through
It was slightly pass midnight
But I found out so much more about my camera!

So here we go...

Awesome 4x picture function displaying photo information

And below are the zoomed version of the 4 pics

All using the Program function

With just slight adjustments in the ISO settings

Bernice's face changed so many colours!

Hahahah

And the pimples also can be covered up!

No photoshop seriously

Cuz I don't know how to use Photoshop

Shutter Speed: 1/25

Focal Length: 6.2mm

White Balance: Auto

ISO Speed: 400

Remember, only ISO speed changes

ISO Speed: 400

Just by tilting the camera at another angle

I think getting the light in

Makes a difference

The picture seems brighter isnt it?

ISO Speed: 800

Shutter Speed: 1/50

The ISO speed increases

The picture looks a whole lot noiser

Quite pixelated if you zoomed in

ISO Speed: 1600

Shutter Speed: 1/100

Cuiz-ness to the max

Super duper noisy

Dont bother to zoom

One look and she told me the difference already

I'm like...impressed totally!

ISO Speed: 1600

Shutter Speed: 1/80

ISO Speed: 1600
Shutter Speed: 1/100

Both photos is lousy to the max

Bleah

So here's another interesting set of pictures

Changing the white balance to get non overexposed photos
Great stuff!

Shutter Speed: 1/25
Focal Length: 6.2mm
White Balance: Auto
ISO Speed: 400

Shutter Speed: 1/20
White Balance: Custom
ISO Speed: 400

By pointing the camera at the napkin

You get a nice custom white colour

So the camera recognize the white

Then it shoots out photos in that version of white!

Woo~

White Balance: Tungsten

ISO Speed: 400

Tungsten gives a warmer feeling to the photo

I like this one more

Got a yellowish feel about it

The previous white like super white
=p

White Balance: Custom

ISO Speed: 400

The tissue paper white again

But too white I guess

Not very nice

I still like the bit yellowish one

=)

And then the master show her tricks at the

DSLR version of the depth shot

Totally AWESOME stuff man!

Can you see the water vapor on the drink?

And the background?
Blurred

Thats DA way man!

Ok minus off my pimpled-face

I keep thinking I look like someone in the photo

Anyway I thought the OGK helmet shot looks pretty decent too
With the object in focus and the background blurred

Bernice says then got the MacDonald feel
MacDonald gives me the oily feel though

Tells me I need to watch my diet

=/

And I think Bernice always can take this expression of me

Never fails to do it with my own camera somemore

Shots I took while walking around Genting

Hmmm

Hard to describe what I feel for this photo

But its not....there

This one not bad

Start to have feel already right?

This one also not bad

Wanted to create the tall tall building feeling
Pity the clouds not very helpful also

But the tree and the lamp in the foreground helped

The colours should have been more vivid

Could have used the vivid mode

Then make it more colourful

And now here's the treasures of the trip

Dang dang dang dang

*drum roll please*

The cat raises the paw

Puts it down

Looks away

And shows the guilty yet innocent look

Took a lot of effort to take these photos of the cat

The guys were chasing it away

But I was chasing it back

Then need to co-ordinate

My bro call it while I snapped away

The cat reacted to "Daniel"

HAHA!

Sorry man!

This one not bad

I waited and aim

Hoping for the Suicide Machine to drop to mid-level

And so the ppl would raise their legs too

Didnt get the all-legs-stretched-out shot

But nonetheless, still satisfied

And the crown jewel....

This is DA BOMB!

My favourite after the pussy shot

I mean the kitty shot

Glad some kid raised the arms

And the rest hanged on for dear life

The ride made me feel like my right brain got

plenty of mass there as the whole brain swung there

Felt empty on the left

Felt like puking with an empty stomach

But ok other than my feelings

I like the photo a lot

Kinda dark?

Can be brighter slightly

But the best is that there is little or minimum overexposure

What's more, I capture moving objects in sharpness

Super lucky

Pays to wait for a good shot isnt it?

Standing so close and trying so many times

=)

P.S. I'm not pro or bragging

I based my photos on a compact camera

And I just take photos with feelings

Sorry I'm not so technical

But I hope for more guidance though
