Q: How to grow your money?
If I was that damn rich, I would pump lots of money into investment
Just invest and hope for the money to grow
Then carry on working
Buy lots of shares
Hope they increase also
Set up business
Hope to rake in more customers too
Of course buy the occasional TOTO and 4D
Then like that wealth accumulation would happen
Eventually right?
Yeah, if I was rich
10 years
15 years
20 years
By 10 years, I would be 31
By 15 years, I would be 36
By 20 years, I would be 41
The most important stage would be 31
Cuz is of marriage age
If you don't have the money for marriage
You expect your parents to pay for you
Then you take care of them
What's the difference between that and loans?
Is just a vicious cycle that you would get stuck in
A vicious poverty cycle
That most Singaporeans can never get out of
Cuz the money you put in the bank would never generate
enough interest to supply your general needs
And you would work hard all your life
Just to provide for your future generation
And not minding the fact that the Mother Earth is dying
So eventually, what are you looking at in your life?
The fact that you work so hard for your future generation
to live their lifes in comfort and happiness?
Or the fact that you enjoyed the best part of your lives
in the younger part of your lifes (like right now 13-25 yr old)?
Is an emotional roller-coaster
But we are all stuck in the passenger seats
That's it
What to do?
One step at a time I guess
Right now
Education is still the most important
Yes academic grades are not everything
No academic grades means you also cannot have everything
Chinese have such a good saying
"先甜后苦" or "先苦后甜"
Which one did you choose?
I'm staring across the tables
And you tell me that the 3 girls in front of me
All except one have given birth
All except one is still studying
And all of them is only 3/4 of my age
Now that is shocking
You show me that
If you don't know English, you WILL suffer
I can only take such information occasionally
And no, I dont look down on them
But I just feel...sad for them
